Technique and Presentation are a constant force in contortion performances. Learn how to get in and out of poses properly and with grace. Also touch on bringing more enhanced flexibility to poses you already have.
Learn techniques to incorporate into your existing flexibility routine. Including new ways to stretch, what you should be stretching, correct alignment while stretching, and ways to incorporate your flexibility into your pole and floor work.
Phoenix Kazree's Signature Tricks and Transitions is where you will learn all four versions of it. Along with floor to pole transitions, more signature tricks, creative ways to enter and exit classic tricks, and so much more.
In Contortion there is a big emphasis on the development of flexibility. This is a given.
However if the body is pushed too far when it is not physically prepared to endure that kind of intensity, injuries are almost certainly inevitable.
This workshop will emphasize 5 areas that need to be developed in conjunction with one another.
These areas will facilitate the appropriate amount of preparation in order to pre-emptively avoid injury, whilst solidifying a foundation to increase ones skill set in several areas!
The 5 essential areas
- Body Positions, Strength, Flexibility, Core Stability, Awareness (Body & Space)
- All are equally important and have an interdependent relationship with one another
- Therefore all need continual maintenance and work all the time

Intermediate - Advanced - 90 Minute Class Students must be able to execute Butterfly, Gemini, and Scorpio Pole tricks (Minimum of 8 students) Learn JOSIAH'S famous unique signature tricks by syncing them into your own dance routine, leaving your audience and fans in awe and amazement. In this motivational and inspirational hour and a half workshop JOSIAH will be demonstrating his most popular signature moves and combinations on static & spinning poles. Guaranteed to impress and wow everyone from beginners to professionals, this intermediate-advanced workshop will have you walking away feeling empowered, taking your pole routine skill set to the next level. All Levels Beginner-Advanced - 90 Minute Class (Minimum of 8 students) This movement class provides a tantalizing slow, rhythmic & choreography that flows cohesively and melts to the melodies which allows you to exude confidence, sensuality, and master musicality. You'll gain an arsenal of new floor and transitional moves plus fluid combos including core building body movements.
All Levels Beginner-Advanced - 90 Minute Class (Minimum of 8 students) JOSIAH'S Futuristic Liquid Flow and Pole Workshop will have you empowered and set for success, leaving you embracing a stronger self-confident version of yourself! In this fun workshop you will learn An arsenal of new floor and transitional moves on & off that pole including core building body movements that will help you release your inner self. Not only will you work your core and muscle strength, the Futuristic Liquid Flow is a great way to conquer shyness moving around the pole, improve your inner self-confidence and increase Flexibility PERFORMERS:

How to finish your act and how to prepare for an audition.
One third of an act is music, one third is costume and one third is your skills.
Inside of all of that is your artistic vision and relationship with an audience. We will explore how acting, character work, costumes, make up and music complete your act.
You will learn character acting, costume lines and design on the body, and how to interact with an audience. We will practice the art of the audition. Most important is how to share with the world the artist that resides inside of you.
